How can I be guaranteed to be approved by a credit card?

After the credit crunch it is becoming more common for credit card providers to refuse credit card applications where they previously would have allowed credit cards.  There are still a couple of ways of getting credit cards, although they are not necessarily going to get the best offers.

There are still some standard credit cards that are guaranteed to allow approval, although these have some of the worst terms of all the standard credit cards.  It is also the case that many of these that are found through search engines will either not be guaranteed approval (although there is a high likelihood of approval) or they will not be standard credit cards. read more…
